Fayetteville Exchange Club announces Superbowl Cookoff fundraiser
Members of the Fayetteville Exchange Club have announced that they have uncovered in their archives the secret recipe for their barbecue chicken marinade and they would like to share this chicken with the community at their Superbowl Cookoff.
The Exchange Club will host its Superbowl Cookoff fundraiser 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and Saturday, Feb. 6, in the IGA parking lot on the corner of College and Lafayette avenues. In addition to cooking and selling half chickens for $5, the club will also cook and sell full racks of ribs for $15.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the club’s programs of service, including its shoe program, through which the club provides hundreds of pairs of shoes for needy school children in the area.
