The Associated Student Government Senate is seeking to fill its nine vacancies with an upcoming election.
Applications were released today and will be accepted until noon Jan. 22. Full-time students with a GPA of at least 2.25 can apply to run.
The vacancy elections will be held from 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2.
“I’d love to have a full Senate,” Tammy Lippert, ASG Senate chair, said.
Four colleges have vacancies. There are three in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences, three in the College of Education and Health Professions, two in the School of Law & Graduate School and one in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
Students who are interested in applying to run for office can find an application in the ASG office on the sixth floor of the Arkansas Union. Applications are also available online at http://mmrc.uark.edu/asg/download/134.
