Ozark Slow Food is currently holding a design competition for the logo of their Restaurant Rating program. The Restaurant Rating program will make it easy for anyone to find out how often local restaurants support local farmers and it will help to give consumers an educated snapshot of what steps local restaurants take to help create a more sustainable food system. All participating restaurants will receive a copy of the logo to display in their window. The logo will also be used in press and publications throughout the region

Requirements: Somewhere on the logo there must be the phrase: “Restaurant Rating,” as well as the web address of Ozark Slow Food: ozarkslowfood.org . Text must be easy to read.
Deadline: Monday January 25, 2010
Award: $50 cash or $75 gift certificate to a participating restaurant of the winner’s choice

Winner will be decided by the Ozark Slow Food Board and will be notified by Friday January 29, 2010.
