Kid Cudi Rocks Barnhill
Barnhill Arena was sold out Sunday night as Kid Cudi, Chip tha Ripper, and Big Boi took the stage for the spring headliner concert, officials said.
The Headliner Concert Committee spent Sunday setting up for the concert, said Austin Reid, a member of the headliner concert committee.
“We’ve been setting up all day. There is a loading crew setting up the stage,” Reid said on Sunday.
Members of the HCC ran the merchandise stands. They also were in charge of ticketing; they took tickets and gave wristbands at the door, Reid said.
Wristbands were provided for the 1,000 students with floor tickets.
The concert was sold out, with the 450 tickets that students did not claim being sold to the public.
Kid Cudi and Chip tha Ripper were picked up at the airport by officials on Sunday, and Big Boi arrived by bus, Reid said.
