Benton County Now Wet
Benton County voters approved a new law with 67 percent approval, as of press, that will allow the sale of alcoholic beverages countywide. The process of getting a proposition on the ballot for Benton County to be a wet one took a lot of time and effort.
The group Keep Dollars in Benton County began collecting signatures for a petition at the beginning of this year, and successfully got 56,000 people to sign by July, enough to put the issue to a vote.
