Threatening Note Found in Music Building
On Thursday, Feb. 28, a student reported to the UAPD that someone slipped a threatening note under the door to her office in the Music Building. This type of behavior is classified as terroristic threatening in the second degree, which if convicted is a Class A misdemeanor, according to the 2010 Arkansas Code.
The UAPD cannot release any specific information yet since the case is still under investigation.
“Under this type of investigation, since the evidence was left, we will then identify who left the note and have an interview with that person,” said Lt. Gary Crain, UAPD spokesman. “After that, we will put a case together and send it to the prosecuting office, who will then review it and send it to a warrant to issue for that person’s arrest.”
Once the individual is arrested and put in jail and there is a court date made, the arrest report will be released.
