Softball swept by UGA in weekend series

The No. 5 Bulldogs (31-6, 9-2 SEC) amassed two wins against Arkansas (12-20, 1-13 SEC) on Saturday in front of 1,035 fans at the grand opening of the new Georgia Softball Stadium.

When they head to Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday for the opening round of the SEC Tournament, the Lady’Backs will face the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs for the first round.

Lady’Backs end season with Rebs rematch

After an exciting 82-68 win at Florida last Sunday, the 16-9 Lady’Backs will bring an end to their regular season matchups when they travel to Ole Miss this Sunday. Arkansas has already met the Ole Miss Lady Rebels once this season, when they posted a 67-61 win in January at Bud Walton Arena.
