Even with temperatures climbing back up to the 50s, one could say it’s a chili weekend, just in time for the 15th annual Chilirhea chili cook-off Saturday and Sunday. Those not looking to take their taste buds on an adventure can enjoy live music and sporting events instead.

Chilirhea kicks off Saturday from 12-5 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds. General admission, which includes chili, live music and alcohol, is $35 on Saturday and $40 on Sunday.

Feeling nostalgic? So is local throwback party band Dial Up, who will play a ‘90s Prep Party tribute concert from 9 p.m.-12 a.m. Doors open at 7, and tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door. Don’t forget your plaid skirt.

If, after all of that, you’re energized enough for more yelling, you can watch the Arkansas Razorbacks Women’s Basketball team play the Kentucky Wildcats at 3 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.
