Those looking to de-stress from the ongoing uncertainty of election results can attend a variety of events across Northwest Arkansas that are sure to make for an exciting and relaxing weekend.
Bring a friend and bust a move at Drop. The. Mic., a silent disco located at Record Downtown in Bentonville. People of all ages can attend the disco where social distancing guidelines are required and a limited number of people are allowed entry. The event is from 8-11 p.m. and tickets are $12. Masks are required.
Wake up and enjoy the warm weather at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art for a guided tour of the museum grounds from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The tour will teach guests about the trees and the importance of preserving them. While the event is free, masks and social distancing are required.
Visit Bentonville for the day and check out Beer, Bites and Bocce Ball at the Momentary Green. Grab a drink or two, a snack and play the ancient game of Bocce Ball any time from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Ball set rentals are $10 per hour for visitors and $8 per hour for Momentary members. Masks are required for all ages over 10.
Meet a goat and grab a glass at Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery in Springdale for goat yoga. The event starts at 1 p.m. in the wine tasting room, which is limited to 50 people. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance.
End the weekend with a treat for yourself and a “pup cup” for your furry friend at Bella Vista Animal Shelter’s “Pup Cup Ice Cream Social(ly distant) @ Trash Creamery.” Located in Bentonville, the event runs from 2-5 p.m., with 25% of its proceeds going directly to the animal shelter.
