The holiday season is in full swing as the last classes of the fall semester wrap up. Northwest Arkansas residents can enjoy music, theatre, sporting events and more this weekend.

Friday

Nomads Southtown will present a comedy night at 8:30 p.m. Ladies Night in Cursive, featuring a duo from Atlanta, is an all-women showcase. Tickets are $10, with half of the proceeds going to Arkansas Abortion Support Network.

Saturday

The Floozies, with Mystic Grizzly, are performing at 9 p.m. at George’s Majestic Lounge. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $23-25.

Razorback fans can go to Bud Walton Arena and watch the men’s basketball team play Tulsa at 12:30 p.m.

For those who want a drink and a show, there is a cocktail class at the Walton Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. before “A Christmas Story: The Musical” performance that evening. People will make two themed drinks and can snack on appetizers. Tickets are $35 and participants must be 21 or older.

Sunday

TheatreSquared’s production of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol,” has two shows Sunday: a 2 p.m. matinee performance and a 7 p.m. evening performance. The show runs through Dec. 27 and tickets start at $30.

Fans can watch the women’s basketball team face Northwestern State at 2 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena.

Join Crystal Bridges at the Family Sunday Winter Showcase, a free event, from 12-5 p.m. There will be holiday-themed performances from NWA-based groups and activities the whole family can enjoy.
