With the Full Moon visible on Friday the 13th,  this weekend holds the promise of being quite eventful. New movie releases include “The Goldfinch” which premieres in theaters Sept. 13 along with “Hustlers”.

Friday 

Full Moon 

A Full Moon will be visible on Friday, Oct. 13 and the next one will not be seen on a Friday the 13th for another 30 years. 

Meditation Art 

Art by the Glass: Meditation Art with Matt Miller is an evening painting class at Crystal Bridges from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 and will cover one glass of wine or beer and an appetizer at the event.

Blue Man Group 

The Blue Man Group has come to Fayetteville and will perform at Baum Walker Hall in the Walton Arts Center throughout the weekend with tickets starting at $40 (Friday to Sunday show times vary). 

The 3rd Annual Startup Crawl 

 A meetup of Northwest Arkansas’ startup community with live music, food trucks, beer gardens (unlimited beer with purchase of souvenir cup ticket). Beginning at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the third annual Startup Crawl kicks off outside of the Pryor Center in downtown Fayetteville square, tickets can be purchased the day of for $20. The music lineup for the crawl include Faye Moffett, Melody Pond, Arika Lewis, Josh Noren and Dial Up. 

Saturday 

Interfraternity Bid Day 

The Interfraternity Bid Day is Saturday, Sept. 14, starting at 10 a.m. in the Chi Omega Greek Theater.

Color Field Exhibition 

Color Field Tour is a free outdoor sculpture exhibition featuring interactive colorful sculptures on Sept. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Crystal Bridges.

Arkansas vs. Colorado State 

Arkansas Football kicks off against Colorado State at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, tickets range from $35-$250 for a single game ticket.

Fall Yoga Series 

A Fall Yoga Series sponsored by Ozark Natural Foods, Lululemon and Good Will Massage continues on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wilson Park. This series of free weekly yoga classes started Aug. 31 at Wilson Park and is hosted by Alexzandrea Hollinshed with a variety of food samples from Ozark Natural Foods available. 

Sunday  

International Festival 

The fourth annual International Festival at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. is a free event that will have music, dancing, interactive booths with activities and more.

Comedy Brunch Show 

Comedians NWA: Comedy Brunch Show at Twelve Coffeehouse and Bar, a free Stand Up Comedy Show happening every third Sunday at Six Twelve Coffeehouse & Bar from noon to 1 p.m. Breakfast burritos from Kona Coast Tacos, homemade quiche and specials on Bloody Marys, Not-So-Bloody Mary's, Mimosas and more will be provided as featured NWA Comedians perform including Taylor Hern, Stef Bright and Stetson Banks.
