Fayetteville Police Department officers responded to a call at 661 S. Royal Oak at 7 a.m. Thursday regarding a death at Hill Place Apartments, according to an FPD sergeant.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a deceased 20-year-old white male, Sgt. Anthony Murphy said in a text. 

The body will be sent to the state crime lab to determine the cause of death, Murphy said. No foul play is suspected.
