Campus Security Authorities received a report Thursday at 8:57 a.m. concerning a rape by an acquaintance in Maple Hill East residence hall at 1 a.m. that morning, according to the UAPD Daily Crime Log.

Title IX officials will review the case, according to the crime log.

Neither the CSA report nor the crime log offered further information.

Campus Security Authorities are UA faculty or staff who report information about crimes to UAPD for statistical purposes, but UAPD officers do not investigate these reports.

This is the first rape report recorded in the UAPD Crime Log for the 2019-20 academic year.

Students can report a rape or sexual assault to UAPD by calling 911 or to the Title IX coordinator by calling 479-575-7111.
