UA Police Department officers are investigating a report of theft from the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium construction site, a UAPD captain said.

Representatives of the TEC Staffing Services management, a temporary employment agency, reported that four workers stole alcoholic beverages between 9:25 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday from a concession area near an area under construction, UAPD Capt. Gary Crain said.

UAPD received the report Tuesday after TEC Staffing Services management found camera footage of the workers involved in suspicious activities, Crain said.

UAPD officers plan to locate the four suspects who were seen on the footage and bring them into custody, Crain said.

This is the fifth report of property theft that has occured at the construction site since construction began, according to the UAPD Daily Crime Log.

The theft is a Class A misdemeanor because the value of the property is less than $1,000. The punishment for Class A misdemeanors is a fine no more than $2,500, by imprisonment no longer than one year or by both a fine and imprisonment, according to the Arkansas Code.
