UA Police Department officers arrested three students and six non-affiliated people and investigated reports of scooter theft and harassing communications between March 25-31, according to the UAPD Daily Crime Log.

Officers arrested a student on charges of public intoxication March 29 on Stadium Drive north of Meadow Street.

Another student was arrested in Lot 74 on charges of minor in possession of alcohol March 29.

Police arrested a student in Yocum Hall on March 30, on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A person not affiliated with the university was arrested on Venus Street, west of Eastern Avenue on March 25 on a warrant issued by the Prairie Grove Police Department for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Officers arrested a person not affiliated with the university on charges of driving while intoxicated on Meadow Valley Trail, a bike trail west of North Garland Avenue on March 25.

A non-affiliated person was arrested March 26 on charges of public intoxication on the east sidewalk of Hillside Auditorium.

Police arrested a non-affiliated person on charges of driving while intoxicated March 29 in Lot 68.

A person not affiliated with the university was arrested for charges of driving while intoxicated on Douglas Street west of Whitham Avenue on March 30.

Officers arrested a non-affiliated person March 31 in Lot 48A on a warrant issued by the Elkins Police Department on a charge of not having a registration.

Police also investigated a report of scooter theft March 25. The student reported someone stole her scooter from Lot 37, but she found it in a restricted area of Lot 37 with damaged wiring.

Officers investigated a report from a staff member March 26 who said someone sent her a harassing message on social media.

UAPD received a report from a student who said a staff member shoved him in the FarmHouse fraternity parking lot March 26.

A student reported someone stole his backpack, which had a laptop, calculator and other school supplies, from the Arkansas Union on March 29.

Officers investigated a report from two employees of Mertins Eye and Optical on Garland Avenue that someone stole a pair of glasses frames March 29.

A student reported another student punched him in the Kappa Sigma fraternity parking lot March 31.

No crime was reported March 27-28.
