UPDATE 3:15 p.m., Jan. 26: Crain confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the student, a sophomore named Michael Marron, died at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house.

UAPD has not yet received a report from the medical examiner and cannot confirm the cause of death at this time, Crain said.

The UA Police Department confirmed the death of a student Sunday after officers received a call about an unresponsive person in the bathroom of a fraternity house at 1:23 p.m. Saturday, according to a UAPD captain.

“All emergency services were requested (and) arrived,” Capt. Gary Crain said. “That individual did not make it and is deceased.”

The cause of death is not known at this time and no other information is currently available, Crain said.
