police fire

Fayetteville Fire Department officials were notified at 11:13 p.m. Tuesday night about a fire in the area near Agricultural Park on Garland Avenue, commonly referred to as "the farm.”

There are no injuries that the department is aware of at this time, UAPD Capt. Matt Mills said.

Mills confirmed at 1 a.m. that the fire was out.

“It appears to be an equipment shed, is what we think right now,” Mills said. “It was fully involved (in fire) when the fire department got on scene.”
