Students must move out of UA housing, including residence halls, apartments and Greek houses, by April 3, according to an announcement Wednesday.

The university will continue to make housing available for international students.

If students need an exception to this announcement, for reasons including personal safety, academic distress, not having access to the internet or not having available housing, then they have the opportunity to petition this decision.

The UA Pat Walker Health Center will remain open despite the closure and cancellation of all campus events. Patients can only call and make appointments and the health center is suspending evening and Saturday clinic hours.

University employees who carry out essential university operations, including disinfecting the transit system, carrying out public safety and information technology systems for the success of online classes will continue to work on campus either full or part-time.
