UA Police Department Officers arrested one one student, one staff member and one non-affiliated person between March 1-5, according to the UAPD Daily Crime Log.

UAPD received a report of sexual indecency with a child March 2 at the Jean Tyson Child Development Center. Police updated the case March 4 and arrested a staff member on two counts of sexual indecency with a child and one count of rape discovered through the investigation.

UA police arrested a student March 1 in Humphreys Hall on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested a non-affiliated person March 1 in the driveway at the Chi Omega sorority house on charges of driving while intoxicated.

A student reported March 1 that someone stole his vehicle from Lot 74C.

Police received a report March 2 that someone hit a student’s vehicle with a stick while the student was sitting in his parked vehicle in Lot 56.

UAPD received a report March 4 that a Twitter user stole $200 for concert tickets.

Officers received a report March 4 that an unknown individual sent him harassing text messages.

A student reported March 4 that someone stole her jacket and keys from the Fine Arts Center.

UA police received a report March 5 that someone stole a student’s scooter from the Baum West parking lot.

A Club Red employee reported March 5 that someone stole tea bags.

UAPD received no reports March 3.
