The No. 2 Arkansas women’s track and field team finished its home schedule strong, collecting 11 wins in Friday’s Arkansas Twilight.

Two Razorbacks earned three wins apiece, while the team also recorded 11 season-best performances, including six personal bests.

On the track, Taylor Ellis-Watson won the 200 meters and the 400 meters, in which she clocked a season-best time of 52.16, putting her in the nation’s top 10. She was also a part of the winning 4x400 meter relay team which competed in the final event of the day.

Taliyah Brooks competed in five events at the Twilight and won three of them. She won the high jump, long jump and was also a part of the victorious 4x400 meter relay team which also included Brianna Swinton and Regine Williams.

Swinton also had a win in the 400 meter hurdles, where she broke one minute for the first time this season with her time of 59.63. Alex Gochenour had a first place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.36 as well as two runner-up finishes in the high jump and long jump.

Arkansas also saw success in Valerie Reina winning the 1,500 meters and Samantha Mohler winning the 3,000 meters. Reina set a new personal record with her time of 4:26.44, 13 seconds faster than her previous best.

On the field, Sandi Morris won the pole vault, nearly clearing the mark of 15-3.75 which would have been a new collegiate record, but she still won with her final clearance of 4.50m/14-9. Amethyst Boyd won the javelin, throwing a season-best 46.48m/152-6.

Arkansas’ distance crew is set to compete Saturday at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, California. The Razorbacks will be represented by Therese Haiss, Jessica Kamilos, Shannon Klenke, Diane Robison, Rebekka Simko, Dominique Scott, Regan Ward and Chrishuna Williams.
