Senior guard Chelsea Dungee was recognized as the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week after her performance this past week. Dungee is the first Razorback to receive the honor since Kelsey Brooks in Dec. 2015.
Dungee scored 22 points in the upset victory over the No. 4 Baylor Bears on Sunday. She went 6-of-13 from the field and was 10-of-12 from the free throw line in the 83-78 win.
In Thursday’s 103-50 win against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, Dungee shot 50% from the field and put up 15 points.
In total, Dungee averaged 18.5 points and shot for 47.8% during the past week.
After their victory over the Bears, the Hogs jumped from No. 16 to No. 13 in the nation.
The Razorbacks next game will be at the SMU Mustangs in Moody Coliseum on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
