A student reported she was raped between Lot 50 and North Garland Avenue on Thursday, UA officials said in a safety warning emailed to the campus community in an email Monday.

The student reported the rape Monday to a Campus Security Authority, who reported the information to UAPD, said UAPD Capt. Gary Crain. The student said an unidentified male wearing a dark hoodie and dark-colored pants pulled her off the sidewalk around 9:30 p.m. No additional description of the suspect is available, Crain said.

Students with further information should contact UAPD through phone or text, officials said in the email. Students can also send UAPD anonymous messages through the SafeZone app. People can request a campus escort at any time by calling UAPD.
