UAPD Arrests Six Students, One Staff Member, Four Non-Affiliated People Jan. 10-16

UA Police Department officers arrested six students, one staff member and four non-affiliated people between Jan. 10-16, according to the UAPD Daily Crime Log.

Officers arrested a student Jan. 12 in the Zaxby’s parking lot of 1670 West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on charges of driving while intoxicated.

UAPD officers arrested a student Jan. 16 in the Eureka Pizza’s parking lot at 826 Leverett Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Officers arrested a student Jan. 16 on Douglas Street east of Oakland Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated.

UA Police Department officers arrested a student Jan. 16 in a bathroom in Pomfret Hall on charges of minor in possession of alcohol.

UAPD officers arrested a student Jan. 16 in Lot 49 on charges of minor in possession of alcohol and a fraudulent or altered personal ID.

Officers arrested a student Jan. 15 on Lindell Avenue north of Douglas Street on charges of driving while intoxicated.

UAPD officers arrested a staff member Jan. 11 in Lot 55 on changes of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

UAPD officers arrested a non-affiliated person Jan. 10 in the Mr. Taco Loco’s parking lot at 1701 South School Avenue on charges of public intoxication.

Officers arrested a non-affiliated person Jan. 11 in the Baum-Walker Baseball Stadium west parking lot on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested a non-affiliated person Jan. 11 at the bus stop at the intersection of Dickson Street and Duncan Avenue on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Officers arrested a non-affiliated person Jan. 14 in the Arkansas Union Food Court on warrant.

A non-affiliated person reported Jan. 16 someone pushed him to the ground on Arkansas Avenue at Lafayette Street.

A student reported Jan. 13 her laptop and a lighter were stolen from her apartment in Duncan Avenue Apartments.

A staff member reported Jan. 13 someone damaged several light fixtures along the Oakridge Trail access from Fairview Street.

A student reported Jan. 13 his motor scooter was stolen from Lot 42 sometime between Dec. 4, 2019 and Jan. 13.

A non-affiliated person reported Jan. 14 that someone broke into her vehicle in Lot 56 and stole her debit card.

A student reported Jan. 15 a person he met on social media demanded money Oct. 10, 2019, under threat of distributing a compromising video.

A non-affiliated juvenile reported Jan. 15 someone stole her AirPods from her backpack on the Razorback Transit Bus 19. Investigation revealed no theft occurred.
