About Us
The Arkansas Traveler: About you, for you, for 115 years.
The University of Arkansas' award-winning student newspaper, The Arkansas Traveler, strives to serve the school as a reliable news source and to foster the dialogue necessary to identify and protect student interests. “About students and for students,” the century-old Traveler reflects the reality of living and working at the UA through its daily coverage of campus news and sports. At the same time, the Traveler functions as an introduction to the world of journalism for students who wish to gain hands-on experience in the newsroom.
The Arkansas Traveler is a public forum, the University of Arkansas’ independent student newspaper and all content decisions are those of the editors.
